GUIANG FAMILY TREE NARRATION
The
inseparable cousins, Hilario Pobre Guiang and Mauro Guiang Fuertes,
after spending almost 30 years in the United States of America and
Canada, conducted historical research of the Guiang family from 1956 to
1967. They started from the traceable time of DON MARTIN GUIANG in
1701. There was no known information about Don Martin's parents or any
possible brothers and sisters or relatives. For more than 10 years, the
late Hilario and Mauro spent enormous time and effort gathering data in
order to present accurate and reliable information about the Guiang
ancestry. The Guiang Family Tree was later updated by the late Camilo R.
Guiang in 1981 and re-updated by Pascual Pobre Guiang and Teofilo Guiang
in 1985. As production of the family tree is a continuous endeavor,
names of new Guiang’s offsprings not known at the time of production of
the Guiang Family Tree were not included. However, we endeavor to keep
our family tree growing. With your information, it will be nourished so
as to achieve its height like the centuries-old redwood trees shown in the
home page. We hope to provide you with the information to connect you
to your ancestors within our family tree.
